Project: Interactive timeline application

Client: Open University

The Open University wanted a 'timeline' to explain to new and potential Open University students the sequence of events between initial registration and the start of their course.

Footmar Media developed a Flash application which enabled the visitor to to scroll the timeline using arrows at the top and bottom of the screen, and by rolling over the photographs of people on the left hand side pop-ups containing additional information and actions could be accessed. Within the Flash application hotlinks would take the student to other pages on the OU website.
