Project: Intranet and kiosk-delivered interactive guide and tutorials, with CD-ROM based outreach application

Client: The British Library

The British Library required an interactive guide to the Library's facilities and resources, which would enable current and potential users of the Library's on-site Reading Rooms to understand the facilities and regulations. They also wanted to give the general public access to the restricted Reading Rooms in the form of interactive panoramas.

The application was to be delivered via public access terminals within the Library from an intranet service, as well as distributed externally on CD-ROM as part of the Library's 'outreach' provision.

The Library also wanted to provide an introduction to the Library's Online Catalogue system using interactive tutorials.

A separate version was also produced for the use of Visually Impaired visitors to the Library.
