Clients: Sreepur Village charity
Website development
Project: Website makeover to promote the project, encourage more donations and support a major marketing campaign.Client: Sreepur Village, a Bangladesh-based project for destitute women and children The beauty of this project was the rich resource of numerous photographs taken by professional and amateur photographers. The focus of the site was to engage the visitor, to make them feel welcome and to 'take them round the village' as if they were there. By connecting the visitor emotionally to the women, children and staff, the aim is to move them towards making a difference by donating. The website has been established to support a major TV marketing initiative and to link with the sister site, www.sreepurcards.org, which sells handmade cards created by the project. The site was built to be highly visible to search engines, in a form that can be easily updated by the client, and is supported with on-going help and initiatives to build online branding, social networking, marketing and educational projects. Features: Video - Use of video on homepage to engage the visitor and help Search Engine Optimisation. Video also features in the photo-tour, and more video clips will be added in the future. Interactive map - A Flash-based map to allow the visitor to explore the buidings in the village. Photo tours - Simple and effective use of the photographic materials to build the story of the Village and its people. Online donations - Ability for visitors to make online donations: 'much easier to manage than our old system!' For a quote on a similar project > contact us!
